Was Sin Needed?

I dont think so. Sin in Eden could only come by eating of the tree of good and evil. Adam and Eve had eternal paradise with God before they fell. They had the presence of God with them. But if they did eat of the tree then God still had a rescue plan for them in mind since He loved Adam and Eve.

Yet men will rule over angels in the next age. He who is forgiven more...loves more! :)

I did not say it took God by suprise, but knowledge of what adam would do did not mean it was endorsed apporved or decread by God. Without the law there is no sin but without an alternative there is no choice.

The entire plan involved Adam's sin, to show God's glory, that one day Jesus would enter into our time and space and as a result of doing so there is salvation, and that one day believers will be in the New Jerusalem. Cool plan, huh? :)
