I want to study more about how to prepare my heart for the coming of Christ… to be full of oil and ready for when Jesus comes back. Even if you believe all these historical events weren’t lining up with end time events… I surely do!!!! Jesus coming again can’t be getting any farther away. So this is an open thread. Post your scriptures and thoughts. We were talking about this tonight, and I feel distracted by so many small things of life, I know the big is happening too. It is funny the small stuff you face in every day life is harder to deal with then knowing earthquakes, volcanoes, wild fires, tornadoes, and rumors of wars are all going on.

So how do you prepare your heart for Christ’s return, being a believer already counted!

What a wonderful topic to desire to study.
To have your heart ready for his return I believe we must seek an ever deeeper love with our Lord one of the utmost intimacy

When your heart beats only for him, your eyes see only him you soul cies only for him your every breath breaths only for him

Even though we have to live in this world of evil principalities we are no longer of this world as we rejoice in the Lord and find our home within Him looking forward to the day of His return and our eternal home in the New Jerusalem, Philippians 4:4; Rev 21-22. Also read John 17:1-26.
