We should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.

The Gospel is preached in all the world for a witness to all nations, then the end comes, as Jesus had sent the disciples into all the world to preach the Gospel to every creature, and he that believes and is baptized ( of the Holy Ghost) shall be saved, and those who do not believe ( in the Holy Ghost) shall be damned.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

The children of this world do not believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.( baptism of the Holy Ghost)

According to the course of this world, the prince of the power of the air is the spirit that now works in those children of disobedience.

Luke 16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

The children of this world( of disobedience) reject the Son of God, they do not receive His words( that is why Christ commanded the disciples to go into all the world to preach the Gospel to them,a witness to all nations, then the end shall come.)

The Father gave commandment what should be said, what the Son should speak. The Son speaks what the Father has said.

Verily, Jesus testified, those servants Jesus sent to preach the Gospel to the world, are not greater than He that sent them. The Son knows who He has chosen, and Jesus tells us His word, so we believe that He is He. Verily Jesus tells that who He sends, receives Him, and receives the Father.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Jesus again shows He goes, and the way we know ( as He told is who He is and who He came to bring us to)

Jesus speaks He is the way, and the truth and the life, and no man comes unto the Father but by Him. To know the Son is to know the Father also, and from hence they know Him and have seen Him.

Jesus answers how he that has seen the Son, has seen the Father, to believe that the Son is in the Father and the Father is in Him, and the words Jesus speaks, He speaks not of Himself, the Father dwells in Him and He does the works.

John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Jesus pays to the Father for the disciples to receive another comforter, to abide with them for ever. The Spirit of truth, whom the world( the children of this world/children of disobedience) cannot receive, because they see Him not and do not know Him, but the disciples know Him as He dwelt with them and then is in them. Jesus did not leave them comfortless, He came to them. The world see's Jesus no more, the disciples see Jesus because He lives, and they live also. At the day they ( who see Jesus) know that He is in the Father, and they are in Him, and He is in them.

To have the commandments of the Son, and to keep them, is to love the Son and the Father loves him, and the Son loves him, and the Son manifests Himself to him, if a man loves the Son, they keep His words, and the Father loves him, and the Son and the Father(The, I am.) come unto him and make His abode with him.

He that loves not the Son, does not keep His sayings, and the word we hear ( the world does not hear nor receive the words.) is the Fathers.

John 14:6 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

The Son chose the disciples, and ordained them, and commanded them to ,love one another.

If the world the children of this wold (who do not receive the words of the Son) hate the disciples, they ( who hear the Son) know the world hated the Son before it hated them.

If the disciples were of the world ( were the children of this world/the children of disobedience) the world would love his own, ( they world hears its own) but because the disciples are not of the world, but the Son has chosen them out of the world, therefore the world hates( who is not of the world, even as Jesus is not of the world.)

Remember the word Jesus said unto us, the servant is not greater than His Lord, if they have persecuted the Son, they will also persecute you, if they have kept the saying of the Son, they will keep yours also, they do all these things for the sake of the name of the Son, because they know not the Father which sent Him.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Jesus tells it is expedient that He goes away, for if He goes not away, the comforter will not come, but if He departs ( out of this world) He sends Him to us.

The comforter reproves the world of sin, because they believe not on Him.

The Son reproves the world of righteousness, because He went to the Father and the disciples saw Him no more( in this world)

Jesus reproves the world of judgement, because the prince of this world was judged.

Jesus tells the disciples how the Father loves them Himself, because they loved the Son and believed that he came out from God.( the Son of God came out from God, and went back to God.) Jesus came forth from the Father, came into the world again, left the world and went to the Father.

Then the disciples are sure that the Son knows all things, and by that believed that the Son came forth from the Father. ( from Him, to return to Him.)

Jesus asks, do they now believe ? Jesus answers how the Father is with Him ( the Son went out from the Father to the world, and the Father is with Him, and He returns to the Father out of the world.)

These things the Son spoke to the disciples, to have peace in the world, ( He came to the world, for them to believe in the Son while He was in the world with them.) in the world we have tribulation, but we can be of good cheer, the Son of God overcame the world.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Jesus lifted up His eyes to Heaven, saying, the hour came for the Father to glorify the Son, s the Son may also glorify the Father.

Jesus has power over all flesh, to give eternal life to as many as the Father has given to Him. Eternal life is to know the Father, the only true God, and know Jesus Christ, who the Father sent ( went out from God and returned to Him.)

Jesus glorified the Father on earth, finishing the work the Father gave to the Son to finish. Now the Father glorifies the Son with His own self, which is the same glory the Son had with the Father before the world was.

Jesus manifested Gods name unto the disciples the Father gave to the Son out of the word, as they were the Fathers and He gave them to the Son and they kept the Fathers word( which is the name, the Son manifested to them)

Now the disciples knew that all things what the Father gave to the Son are of Him, for the Son gave unto the disciples the words which the Father gave to the Son, and ( the disciples chosen out of the word) received the words, to know surely that the Son came out from the Father, as they believed that the Father sent the Son ( out from Him, then returned to Him.)

Jesus prays for them, and not for the world, for them which the Father gave Him, for they are His. ( they were His, to choose out of the world and to give to the Son)

Jesus gave the disciples the word of the Father, and the world hates them ( chosen out of the world) because they are not of the world, even as Jesus is not of the world, He prays not for them to be taken out of the world( as the Son was taken out of the world) but that the Father keeps them from the evil( of the world) as they are now, not of the world, even as the Son is not of the world.

Jesus prays for the disciples to be sanctified by the truth, through the word of the Father, as the Father sent the Son into the world, even so the Son sends the disciples into the world, and sanctifies Himself, that they also are sanctified through the truth.

Jesus does not pray for the disciples alone, but for them who will believe on the Son through their word.

That they all may be one; as the Father, is in the Son, and the Son is in the Father,, that we may be one in God: that the world may believe that God sent the Son.

The glory which God gave the Son, He gave to us; that we may be one, even as the Son and the Father one.

The Son in us, and the Father in the Son, that we may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that the Father sent the Son, and has loved us, as He has loved the Son.

The world does not know the righteous Father, but the Son knows the Father, and the disciples knew that the Father had sent the Son, and the Son declared unto the disciples the name of the Father, and would declare it( declares the name of the Father) for the love which the Father has loved the Son, may be in us, and the Son to be in us.

John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

What love the Father has given to us, to be called the sons of God, therefore the world does not know us,, because the world did not know Him..

We are of God( little children chosen out of the world) to overcome them ( they that are of the world)

They are of the world and speak of the word, and the word hears them( the children of this world/children of disobedience)

We are of God, he that knows God hears us, he that is not of God hears not us, by this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Let us ,love one another, for love is of God, and every one that loves, is born of God ( who hears us) and knows God, and he that loves not, knows not God, for God is love.

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I have an up front question.
What do you mean by “(of the Holy Ghost)”?

I guess I want to clarify (of).
I do not want to insert what I think ahead of time.
