The Gospel is preached in all the world for a witness to all nations, then the end comes, as Jesus had sent the disciples into all the world to preach the Gospel to every creature, and he that believes and is baptized ( of the Holy Ghost) shall be saved, and those who do not believe ( in the Holy Ghost) shall be damned.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
The children of this world do not believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.( baptism of the Holy Ghost)
According to the course of this world, the prince of the power of the air is the spirit that now works in those children of disobedience.
Luke 16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
The children of this world( of disobedience) reject the Son of God, they do not receive His words( that is why Christ commanded the disciples to go into all the world to preach the Gospel to them,a witness to all nations, then the end shall come.)
The Father gave commandment what should be said, what the Son should speak. The Son speaks what the Father has said.
Verily, Jesus testified, those servants Jesus sent to preach the Gospel to the world, are not greater than He that sent them. The Son knows who He has chosen, and Jesus tells us His word, so we believe that He is He. Verily Jesus tells that who He sends, receives Him, and receives the Father.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Jesus again shows He goes, and the way we know ( as He told is who He is and who He came to bring us to)
Jesus speaks He is the way, and the truth and the life, and no man comes unto the Father but by Him. To know the Son is to know the Father also, and from hence they know Him and have seen Him.
Jesus answers how he that has seen the Son, has seen the Father, to believe that the Son is in the Father and the Father is in Him, and the words Jesus speaks, He speaks not of Himself, the Father dwells in Him and He does the works.
John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Jesus pays to the Father for the disciples to receive another comforter, to abide with them for ever. The Spirit of truth, whom the world( the children of this world/children of disobedience) cannot receive, because they see Him not and do not know Him, but the disciples know Him as He dwelt with them and then is in them. Jesus did not leave them comfortless, He came to them. The world see's Jesus no more, the disciples see Jesus because He lives, and they live also. At the day they ( who see Jesus) know that He is in the Father, and they are in Him, and He is in them.
To have the commandments of the Son, and to keep them, is to love the Son and the Father loves him, and the Son loves him, and the Son manifests Himself to him, if a man loves the Son, they keep His words, and the Father loves him, and the Son and the Father(The, I am.) come unto him and make His abode with him.
He that loves not the Son, does not keep His sayings, and the word we hear ( the world does not hear nor receive the words.) is the Fathers.
John 14:6 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
The Son chose the disciples, and ordained them, and commanded them to ,love one another.
If the world the children of this wold (who do not receive the words of the Son) hate the disciples, they ( who hear the Son) know the world hated the Son before it hated them.
If the disciples were of the world ( were the children of this world/the children of disobedience) the world would love his own, ( they world hears its own) but because the disciples are not of the world, but the Son has chosen them out of the world, therefore the world hates( who is not of the world, even as Jesus is not of the world.)
Remember the word Jesus said unto us, the servant is not greater than His Lord, if they have persecuted the Son, they will also persecute you, if they have kept the saying of the Son, they will keep yours also, they do all these things for the sake of the name of the Son, because they know not the Father which sent Him.
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
