Ohio voters decisively reject change in constitutional referenda to stop abortion change.
For decades, under Roe v. Wade, we saw declining abortion rates. Then the Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade. Now in one red state after another, voters are rejecting attempts to ban abortions. Ohio, Kansas, Kentucky... And now abortion rates are rising again. We're losing for the first time in a long time.
Winning hearts and minds works a lot better than trying to use the power of the state to tell people what to do.
We told you so.
In a win for abortion-rights supporters, Ohio voters reject Issue 1
Ohioans voted down a proposal that would have made it harder to pass future proposed constitutional amendments in the state, including one in November about abortion rights.
