The bible doesn't explicitly tell us the age of the earth or universe and the genealogies have been interpreted in many ways producing a wide range of estimates from many people.

I don't subscribe to the idea of a young earth. One would need to explain why the dating methods used in science tell us otherwise.

The RCC has no teaching on the age of the earth.
I don't think any Christian church has a teaching on the earth's age
