Hi to all , and one feels the Paul is calling Christ accursed , and not so , and Paul is one of MOST mis-understood Apostle .
1) The phrase " let him be accursed " is in the Imperative Mood of Command . It is also written this way in verse 9 , and constitutes a double warning by God that should catch the attention of every believer in the Body of Christ .
2) " Accursed " is the Greek word ANANTHEMA , meaning " a curse " . It is used 6 times in the Bible , Acts 23:14 ; Rom 9:3 ; 1 Cor 12:3 ; 16:22 ; Gal 1:8,9 .
3) The Greek translation of the Old Testament used this word in Duet 7:26 in speaking of an abominable and detestable thing .
4) Preachers and the the Bible Teachers who are saved , members of the Body of Christ but who preach Israel's Kingdom truth can be rightly called Kingdom Preachers , are an Abomination in the sight of God . Verse 8 is different than verse 9 , and in verse 8 it is talking about angel from heaven , let him be accursed , and 2 Cor 11: 13 , since Satan himself is transformed into an angel of Light and in verse 15 , his ministers are also transformed into ministers of righreosness .
5) Verse 9 , " As we have said beforehand " is the Greek word PROEREO , and means " formerly , to say , before " . This verb is in the Greek Perfect Tense . The perfect tense signifies a Past Action with the results continuing on INTO the present . Formerly refers to the assemblies that Paul started in Acts 20:29 , 30 .
6) The perfect tense makes this warning revlenant to the whole Dispensation of grace , and I feel that I have written this for a second time .
