What are God's purposes for you?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. – 2 Thessalonians 1:11

This is the scripture for the Daily God Walk for today. Some see the power in us as simply the power to live the Chrisitan life; others see it as empowering for witness.... some of this is discussed in today's Daily God Walk.

What do you see as the purpose for God's power in your life?

To be an Apostle...just like Paul :lol Just having fun.
We are called to holiness. We are ambassadors for Christ. It all starts with a right relationship with God, before anything serious can happen.

God's purpose for me should be the same for all Christians - to spread the gospel, and be an ambassador for him. And grow in our relationship with Him.

to decrease as He increases.

to be transformed into His image.

if it wasn't for people being transformed into His image, this world would be chaos, imo.

For me I think it's to turn so called problems into challenges so that they bring me closer to God so I can then show others that problems can be challenges for improvement for them. That "challenges" can be blessings in disguise....so to thank God for all things that come our way, however we first perceive them.

I am not really sure what God's purpose for me is right now. I am going through a particularly hard period in my life right now, yet I lean on Jesus every step of the way.

Perhaps my purpose is to show others that when you turn your life over to Jesus, that he will get you through your most difficult times. To show others that there is no need to be afraid.
