I don't choose to believe that Jesus was god, I do not even choose to believe that (while the morals may have been taught by a teacher) they were all necessarily the same man. The morals that were written could easily be a compilation of various teachers over about the same time period.

Okay, just wanted to clarify that, because otherwise it sounded like it was contradictory. I had forgotten your other post.

A great book that I highly recommend for anyone who is interested in hearing the Christian argument for Biblical authority (and much more) is "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be An Atheist." Link It's very good, very detailed, yet easily grasped. I haven't finished it yet, but so far I'd say it's one of the best apologetics books I've read. And you don't have to be an atheist in order to get something out of it. I know it's helped to stregnthen my faith. :)
