That is the ' normal ' state for the unmarried Christian.

In Christianity sex is for between husband and wife, there is No other permitted sexual relationship.

So a boy and a girl who are dateing, going out together, courting etc etc do not have sexual relationships with each other or with other people, they are celibate or chaste.
