We failed in a monumental way and it is evident in the current state of the world.

What do we ask the younger generation to do that we failed at?
 
And taking responsibility for their actions and dealing with the consequences could be another.
 
Yes! But I think that maybe they can learn from our ignorance.

In all of our technology and "progressive" thinking we still don't get it.
 
I think we have failed them most (in general, that is) by not providing a stable family environment for them.
