What day is it that the eyes of the blind see out of obscurity and out of darkness ?
The day when the meek increase their joy in the Lord, when the scorner is consumed, and those who lay a snare for those who reprove in the gate are cut off ?
The eyes of them that see shall not be dim, ( not see darkly.) when the ears hearken, when the rash shall understand knowledge, when we speak plainly.
The vile person speaking villany, their heart working iniquity, practising hypocrisy, (that cannot cease from sin, an heart they have exercised with covetous practices. 2 Peter 2:14.) to utter error against the Lord, ( all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. Jude 1:15.)
They devise wicked devices, to destroy the poor with lying words. (through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. 2 Peter 2:3.)
The liberal devises liberal things, and by liberal things, he shall stand.
Isaiah 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
Isaiah 32:3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.
6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jesus tells of the people who have their heart fat, their eyes closed so they cannot see, nor understand with their heart, to be converted and HEALED.
Jesus says the Apostles have blessed eyes, for they see, and their ears hear.
That many men desired to see the things they see, but have not seen them, to hear the things they hear and have not hear them.
Jesus tells the Apostles to know the Son is to know the Father, and from then on they have known Him and seen Him.
Jesus answers when we see the Son, we see the Father.
Matthew 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
We are members of the body of Christ. God gave apostles, prophets, teachers, and they were told to covet the best gifts, and yet a more excellent way was SHOWN.
Charity never fails, prophecies fail, tongues cease, knowledge vanishes away. ( apostles, prophets, teachers.) the prophets knew in part and prophesied in part. But when that which is perfect is come, ( the more excellent way shown.) then that which is in part is done away. ( tongues, prophecy, teachers, charity believes all things.)
When we were children, we understand as a child, but when we become a man, we put away childish things. Now ( as a child) we see darkly, but then face to face. ( when that which is perfect is come/charity the bond of perfectness, we put on/put on Christ. Colossians 3:14. Galatians 3:17. ) Charity abides and is the GREATEST.)
Be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be you children, but in understanding be men.
God, commanded the light to shine out of darkness, shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1 Corinthians 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
