I have often heard that the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.
 
I have managed two close friends in my nearly 72 years. The first was when I was 22 & 23. He was 19 years old and had got a look at my record before I arrived and before I could deplane was deep into the conversation about why I would be his Crew Chief. Near te end of my 24th year he was killed by a sniper, in 1969.

My other close friend is the girl I am married to. She knows my life history and like God, this Deacon's daughter loves me in spite of it. That is the way it should be, two persons that are intimate in their knowledge and are still willing to die for the other.

Be careful, dishes sometimes slip out of hands as they are pointing toward you, holes are burned in shirts that are over ironed, and don't forget that socks get lost in the washing machine.

It is best to use paper plates, wear wrinkle free shirts, and don't wear socks only sandals

I don't know about up North, but in these here parts socks seem to end up in the 5th dimension.
I've only heard of this from friends - I don't know from experience, of course.
