What I see in the Church today

This message is my opinion and not to taken otherwise. If the Mods want, the can delete it.

As I look at the condition of the Church today, I see many things that seem to me not right. First, I think we have become too much Love correct. Some Churches will not speak out about Homosexuality, abortion, immorality, and many evil things. Have we become too complacent, appeasers, compromizing the Word, unity to the extent it becomes rather ridiculous. I believe there is a movement for a one world religion for the sake of unity. We can't see to get enough boldness to tell other religions, like Muslems the truth of the Gospel. There are many Churches like this. They tell people there is no literal hell, it's Ok, if it feels good, just do it. We don't dare correct them because we are suppose to be love correct.

I am always going to preach the Gospel in boldness. I am not willing to tell people that are wrong in their beliefs and make their positions right. I am not willing to love people into hell. There are many New Age Churches, liberal churches that are not correct in their doctrine. One last comment. Is there going to be an end-time revival where many are saved? I really don't think so. We will probably have the Apostate end-time revival before the Church is taken out.

I hope I haven't upset anyone, but this is how I feel. Does anyone have any comments?

I may have an inside why you wrote this.. I agree with your post, the Church does not stand strong for itself anymore. It's best for one to voice their opinion out on the street, face to face is the best way to show through love, humbleness, and kindness.
Now here on a forum, it's a bit different. We can voice our opinions here but 98% of what we say will do little to change anyone's heart, so it becomes a debate. So many are good at debating and looking stuff up on the internet and cutting and pasting. When the computer is off and it's thrown right in their face they don't have a clue, they never study but come here and waste time debating the issue rather then actually taking time and studding the Word. So with that we have to enforce rules because so many people love a "good debate" but show little love, humbleness, and kindness..

I believe there will be a one world religion which will pretty much throw all religions in the same pot and call it "one". Of course the only thing that won't be tolerated will be the (whole) counsel of God and those who refuse to compromise His truth.

I found this little article a couple of years ago, maybe you'll find it interesting golfjack ...It really sums it up pretty good.

Satans humanistic gospel

The gospel of Satan is not a system or revolutionary principles, nor yet a program of anarchy. It does not promote strife and war, but aims at peace and unity.
It seeks not to set the mother against her daughter nor the father against his son, but fosters the fraternal spirit whereby the human race is regarded as one great "brotherhood."
It does not seek to drag down the natural man, but to improve and uplift him. It advocates education and cultivation and appeals to "the best that is within us."
It aims to make this world such a comfortable and congenial habitat that Christ’s absence from it will not be felt and God will not be needed. It endeavors to occupy man so much with this world that he has no time or inclination to think of the world to come.
It propagates the principles of self-sacrifice, charity and benevolence, and is popular with the masses, because it ignores the solemn facts that by nature man is a fallen creature, alienated from the life of God, and dead in trespasses and sins, and that his only hope lies in being born again.

That was good Destiny. Did you that a preacher in Sweden was arrested and put in jail for thirty days because he preached against homo-sexuality? This could happen to us here in America.

Good post destiny!
We are indeed living in an anti-christ age. My thoughts on the 'one world religion' has changed a bit over the years. I tend to think that as long as people believe one lie or another, it won't matter much to the anti-christ what idol they worship ~ just as long as it keeps them from the truth.

Hi Guys. I agree with you guys on this. I will ramble of a few thoughts as well that may not make sense, but they are my thoughts.
I have only been on this forum for a few months. It is easy to get burned out on it and frustrated. On the other hand its been a huge blessing for me as it has put my mind to think again.
As far as the seeker friendly churches go, this is one reason I am so against the Purpose driven life, new age , emergent church movements. Indeed this is the apostasy of things to come and are here now.

Speaking for my self, atleast I can say with an honest heart that who I am in this forum is who I am. When I teach the bible I teach it with boldness and don't hold back. I teach only verse by verse.

One of the things I find really disturbing, is how so many people on this forum hide who they are? Why? If people can take the time to write comments why not fill out your profile? Atleast if we could get some sort of idea who we are talking to or where they live it will give us some sort or personalization. It seems to me that for the most part the Christians have some details as to who they are in there profiles. For example.

Vic He has attends a baptist church and lives in NJ
Atone attends a baptist church and lives in NM
GolfJack lives in AZ attends a wof church.
there are many more, but these cam to mind with out ooking up anything.
It amazes me that there are many mods and admins we know nothing about and even some mods who are not Christians

I have also come to realize that if a pole were taken and answered honestly, I would bet that half the folks if not more, do not even attend church. For me this is hard to understand.

I read my bible everyday, even when I don't feel like it. First thing I do everyday is pray. When I don't I am a mess and am glad to be a mess as my prayer life is my lifeline. Infact I pray through out the day. Thats another thing. I notice people like to skip over the prayer and praise room here. Thats the room or thread that should have the most activity. I remember a time in my life when i depended on people praying for me online at crosswalk. I praise the Lord for that.

I could keep writing all night long but for now I will leave it at that.
Blessings, Javier

As I look at the condition of the Church today, I see many things that seem to be not right. First, right-wingers are more concerned with saving our flesh from terrorists than saving our souls from a corrupt sociey. They vote for Bush because he lied us into war with Iraq to save us from getting nuked by a country that didn't even have a nuke program. They ignore that Bush and Cheney have both expressed supports for states where same-sex marriage has been sanctioned against the will of the people. Right-wingers, zionists, would prefer to slouch toward Gomorrah where they have promises of safety, even though they are only slouching toward Hell, and not even geting safety in the deal.

You are exactly what I am talking about. You have no idea what your talking about 90% of the time. How old are you?

Hi golfjack,

I think the believers in this world, that make up the true church, have denied themselves, taken up their crosses, and are following after Christ at any cost. I know that most institutions/denominations have allowed themselves to be deceived, but this is not the church. The church follows Christ, and is given over to His will...even if it conflicts with their own denomination.

The body of Christ is such an amazing gift to us as individuals. When I partake of communion, I am with them in Him (true unity). I do not know all of them now, and I do not understand all of their gifts, or their purposes, but I know that all of us are holding up the head, and He utilizes us to do God's will in the exact purpose we were created for. There is a child's song that talks about how some are the eyes, the ears, the hands, the heart, etc. True believers, the church, are lights everywhere...we are truly in the world, but not of the world...and this is the body, the corporate church.

I want to encourage you to be thankful for your brothers, and sisters, and do not confuse them with the world. They are indwelt by the Spirit, and you can recognize them by their fruits. They bless one another, and they receive blessings from one another. They sharpen each other, and edify each other, and they truly do have Christ in common. They love one another, and practice charity, and their lives are a praise to God in word, and deed. They forgive one another, and apologize for their mistakes. And best of all they pray for one another taking all things to our Father. I have come to love, and appreciate, this remnant that God has scattered throughout this world, and it's nations...all carrying out the great commission. I hope this is an encouragement to you. The Lord bless you.

The institute that calls itself the church is impotent.

Why? Because it doesn't know what the gospel is.

Truth is always that simple.

Grace and Peace to you mutzrein

Agreed J and thanks. Poke, I have asked before that you not make church doctrinal issues political. You are coming close to being a troll, as per our definition:

Warning:
4 - No Trolling:

You will not post anything that disrupts the peace and harmony of this forum. Don't make inflammatory remarks just to get a response. This will also include posts that put down Christianity in general or any posts considered as blasphemy by staff (this is a CHRISTIAN FORUMS site).

You also posted almost word for word the first sentence in JG's post. Please refrain from doing that; it comes across as patronizing.
