What does a tattoo mean?
If a person is nice, they're nice even if they have a tattoo.
If a person is not nice, they're not nice even if they have no tattoos.
I was in the hospital a year ago and they took my cross. So I am going to get a tattoo of a cross. My son is upset because he says the Bible forbids scaring the body. But if I needed surgery it would leave a scar.
If you are looking for the perfect, unblemished partner you will fail. We are not perfect people when we enter into a relationship. In my opinion it is wrong to pass on a good person just for this reason alone. Take care.

I'm old school. Tats means trouble. Bad attitude. Thumb your nose at authority. Criminal behaviour. Japanese Yakuza association. Worldly. Ex Navy (for some reason)
Ok ok..the meaning has changed. I know. I know. I need to change with the times. Gals wear them. I don't like them on men or women. But that's just me. What a tattoo says to me is "don't mess with me". Maybe that's a useful message in this tough world. But I ask, would Jesus have worn one? I doubt it. I don't think his main message is "don't mess with me".
You bring up an interesting point. A woman with the tattoo is going to attract the wrong kind of men. I had a client who had tattoos and she told me she was lonely and wanted to find a partner. I said where do you go to meet people. She said the Hell's Angels bar. I had to straighten her out. So except for the cross I'm against tattoos. They are a statrment, but aome statements are better than others A a butterfly is a statement. I almost got one of those. I want to advertise my recovery and a butterfly means change. ?
