What is better?

why not simply do as asked/requested and learn that it is not reasonable to try and reason with folk who do not even know what day it is because if sunday is Monday and Monday is sunday - just check your calendars and dairies and see what day starts each week and what day finishes the week - lets know what you discover and then we can reason together again - twinc

no - I have Christian calendars and diaries with each week beginning on Sunday - twinc

A Christian calendar that begins on the Venerable Day of the Unconquorable Sun? Are the other days dedicated to the moon, the Norse gods Tiu, Woden, Thor and Frey and the Roman god Saturn? Are the months on your "Christian" calendar dedicated to Roman gods and goddesses and deified Roman emporors? Doesn't sound like a very Christian calendar to me.

If you're going to call people out because of the calendar they use, you should really check yours first. You know... the whole log vs. splinter thing.

You implied that others here were Pagans because their calendars didn't start on the right day. I was just pointing out that you can't afford to make such a statement while you yourself use a calendar that is thoroughly Pagan in every way. There is no such thing as a "Christian calendar". Every calendar in use today has signs of some Pagan influence, even the Hebrew calendar.

TOG - all you are doing is spoiling it for yourself and others by insisting I said or meant what I did not say or mean - I was trying to draw attention to the fact that now the Sabbath starts the week and not ends ir - for in fact we are called to sit and rest with the Lord before we walk with Him and stand with Him = sit/walk/stand = Ephesians.2:6/4:1/6:11 = see Watchman Nee - twinc

You said: "lets check the pagans amongst us - have a look at the calendars/Diaries in your house and see if the week begins on a Sunday or Monday". How is this not accusing people of being Pagans based on their calendar? If that's not what you meant, then please clarify. And please don't just say "via Google" or "see Watchman Nee". Let us, for once, hear something from your own heart and mind.

it was you who said and said I implied that the pagans amongst us were the ones who had calendars/dairies with the week commencing on a Monday - I was drawing attention to those who had sown tares among the wheat and that Christians were not aware that they had non Christian calendars/diaries showing the week commencing on a Monday and the Sabbath being at the end of the week and not the beginning - twinc

I have never said any such thing. Please explain the quote above, where you said "lets check the pagans amongst us". You said that in the context of what day of the week calendars start on. If you didn't mean to imply that people using "incorect" calendars were Pagans, then what did you mean to imply?

I was drawing attention to those who had sown tares among the wheat and that Christians were not aware that they had non Christian calendars/diaries

And I pointed out that your calendar is just as non-Christian, since it lables every day of the week and 8 out of 12 months as being dedicated to a Pagan god or goddess.

The Sabbath IS at the end of the week. The Bible specifically says it's the seventh day, and it repeats that many times.
