What is black magic?

I'm not looking for a long answer that does nothing but avoid the actual question by giving vague answers.

I'm seriously curious, what is black magic? What is REAL MAGIC?

Can you give me an example?

Surely it's not like raising the dead, flying, or creating fire out of nothing.. Voodoo dolls? Cursing someones family lineage because they stole your lucky rabbits foot? Walking under a ladder?

When I hear christians mention black magic.. it seems like a joke. Surely something as real as "REAL MAGIC" wouldn't be so ridiculed by every single person that hears it. Are satanists just really good at keeping a secret?

OR.. is it something that we're all use to? THE INTERNET? Radio waves?! Satellite tv?!

Bending energy to your will is magic in general.

Ironically Alchemy was a black art and shunned for ages because it originated In Egypt and Rome and was a method to bend energy. What makes it ironic is the practices in Alchemy is what created Chemistry and Physics. What people thought was black magic was studied and found to be reactions that could be explained.

In short its the manipulation of energy for personal use. Hence Black Magic.

Also allot of Black Magic is illusions and trickery that is used to scam people. Palm reading and horoscopes are common practices that originated in cults and the Gypsies, which where used to exploit the unsuspecting. ;)
