Jesus preached the gospel of the Kingdom
Throughout Jesus' ministry Jesus would often preach about the gospel of the kingdom. He would use parables to describe what the kingdom of God is like. This gospel is good news when translate from the Greek.
The government of God
There are at least three reasons why it's good news; (1. It means that humanity has hope beyond this life...this sick and dead world. (2. It tells us that we are not just another one of God creations. (3. It also has to do with having the kind of relationship with the Father that only Jesus had with Him from eternity. And (4. If you believe the gospel, repent of your sins and be baptized, you will be among those who will sit with Jesus on His throne in His kingdom….you will be co-ruler with Jesus.
The missing part of the gospel
The gospel or good news of the kingdom of God is in addition to what you already probably heard, which is that Jesus came and died for yours and my sin, so that we would not perish but have everlasting life. That I won’t get into since most already heard at least something about that. But there is another part of the gospel that most have never heard, and that is Jesus is coming back to rule as King of kings and Lord or lords; so He is not coming back as a little baby or as a mortal man who is subjected to death. He is coming back to rule over the earth. He is coming back as the almighty God to save mankind from themselves and Satan. Jesus will return at a time when the nations are angry; the world will be in a state of turmoil. It will be a time when almost all the nations are under a world ruling power or government, called The Beast....But not everyone will gladly submit to this world power.
Unrest in the world
At this time Satan and his demons will be stirring up the nations; nations/human beings are as easily stirred up to war against each other as it is easy for the wind to stir up the ocean.

But before the two dominant world powers can even get a chance to fight each other Jesus intervenes. But they will not welcome Him. I can only speculate why. They will see a man coming down from the sky, and at the same time, they will see people ascending up to the sky to meet Jesus and possibly think it might be some kind of alien invasion from another planet. But what is clear is that they will not know that this is Jesus of the Bible. After all, they have been deceived into rejecting God, so He will be the farthest thing from their minds.<O:p</O:p
So they will turn their hostility away from each other and turn to fight what they consider an invader from space. But they will not stand a chance....there weapons will be useless against Jesus. Jesus will destroy there armies with His words. All of a sudden some of them will have there eyes rotting away while they are still alive, there tongue rotting in there mouth before they can utter a command and there body rotting away while they are still standing on there feet.

But once the nations see that this invader/Jesus does not mean them any harm, they will seek Him out. They will see and hear rumors about how prosperous and blessed the Israelites are, since Jesus rescued them again from bondage. They will want Jesus to teach them His ways of how to live in peace with each other. This is where God's children will come in. When Jesus returns the saints will be glorified; they will inherit a glorified body like Jesus’ body. So when the nations or representatives of the nations come to Jesus, whom at this time will be ruling in Jerusalem over Israel, Jesus will send His brothers and sisters who will teach/rule them with love. Eventually as more and more nations come under the loving rule of Jesus and the saints the whole world will be filed with the knowledge of God as the waters of the sea.
Peace breaks out all over the world
Nations will at last be at peace with each other....the poor and destitute will become prosperous. Racism and sexism will be a thing of the past, no more crime, no more warring factions or tribes killing and maiming each other; people will no longer live in fear. And by the way at this time Satan is chained and was cast into the bottomless pit so that he will not be able to deceive the nations any more.......until the end of the 1,000 years where he will be let lose for a short time.<O:p</O:p
