Just a 3 foot ape, hardly convincing. The newest crap going around is Ida which is simply a lemur variant.

Apparently not.
 
That challenge is usually a stopper. For me, Diarthrognathus is a pretty good one. The distinguishing mark between mammals and reptiles is that the mammalian jaw joint is at the dentary, and the reptilian jaw joint is at a bone now part of the mammalian middle ear.

But there are a number of transitionals with both joints. That's really hard to wave away.
