What is the worst movie you've ever seen?

I'd have to say the worst one I've watched was Fried Green Tomatoes. Lesbian subplot was a big turnoff for me.

Ditto with "The Color Purple". I was surprised at how many Christian's thought that was a "Christian" movie. Umm...no.

Worst movie I've seen this year was Skyline. Has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Looked like an updated more serious version of Independence Day, but was total celuloid garbage once the aliens really started attacking.

Another couple movies I expected to be good, but were absolute wastes of time: Godzilla (the American one with Matthew Brodrick) and The Avengers (with Sean Connery and Uma Thurman). WOW, those movies were horrible.

Other bad films--American History X--Nudity.
A Bugs Life--Suggested Transvestism with the bug Francis.

Actually that wasn't transvestism, at least not in my opinion. It was a running joke about the name of the bug vs. the gender of the bug. I don't know, I didn't find it offensive. I can kind of see where you're coming from.

I thought of another one!! Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It's one of the most insulting films I've ever seen. Remember that 1971 version with the classic songs, a realistic portrayal of a little boy who has dreams but is down on his luck, and a magical candy maker? Well Tim Burton's remake contains none of that!! I could go on forever about how insulted I was, as a fan of not only the original book but also the 1971 movie and the author of said book!! It may be factually closer to the book but the charm and wit of it just dies. I felt insulted, like Tim Burton was trying to make the worst interpretation of the book possible. There was the highly disturbing portrayal of Wonka, played by a genuinely talented actor. There was the horrible back story about Wonka which wasn't in the original book in the first place. There was the complete deviation of the book in the end. And Burton says it's closer? No way!! As you can tell, this movie makes me mad.

Coming up right before 11/11/11, a movie, by the same name, became available for queue on Netflix.

... Boy, was that a mistake... just... horrible...

Worst movie ever? Dragon Wars, half the movie is in (poorly translated) Korean, based off a Korean "myth", impossiable to follow plot. Horiable acting, worse scripting.
All in all the pride of my bad movie collection. So bad it took me 23 tries to make it through the movie(not in one sitting either).

Several "bad" ones come to mind:

A prairie home companion - a whole cast of people I just didn't care about
The day the earth stood still 2008 - a film made by environmentalists
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen - Huge letdown

Anything with Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell
Anything made by M. Night Shayamalan - his last 3-4 movies were awful
Anything made by Michael Moore

Battle of Los Angeles. A completely, totally and utterly worthless waste of ninety minutes, and a rip off of Battle: Los Angeles, itself a completely, totally and utterly worthless waste of ninety minutes, but with a bigger buget.

Plan 9 from Outer Space at least had the virtue of being a relatively original story.
gotta love the way Bela Lugosi's stand in looked so unlike him that he had to walk around with a cape over his face for all his appearances:clap.

I watched The Last Airbender last year, and was so bored, I turned it off half-way through, and I never went back to it. And I never will.

As far as Fried Green Tomatoes is concerned, I thought it was a great movie.

Someone made me watch the Left Behind movie. That was even worse than the books!
