So I was doing a few things around the house and ran across something that belonged to my dad...I kinda think it's a Morse Code key for sending Morse Code. ..but Im not positive yet and haven't read the literature in it, lol.

It's made by MFJ Enterprises and has a model number of "MFJ-422 B"
"Pace Setter Keyer. With Bencher Paddle. ..

There's a xfmr in the box too, to run it presumably.
My dad was a radio intercept operator in the Air Force and did know Morse Code. He sent me a cassette tape one time of morse code do I could learn it. I messed with it for a short while and didn't learn it all the way by heart.

Is that what I have here?
What else would I need to be able to really send & receive Morse code?
It would be useful to know morse code in the coming days...
Or am I wrong?

Morse code is neat. A former best friend's father used to do morse code. Ee would hear all the beeps and dashes all the time. He gave my friend the card of the letters to practice, but I think it requires a license to openly communicate in morse? I could be wrong, but I don't know laws on this, but this was years ago.
