What is your favorite movie

Lord of the Rings Trilogy:

Even though there where major false interpretations from Peter Jackson, still in the main brilliant films.

12 Angry Men:

Fantastic film that shows how one shouldn't just make assumptions based on ones appearance and background.

Stand By Me:

I was the same ages as the characters in the film when I first watched this film.

My favorite films of all time includes:

Star Wars
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
The Dark Knight
Princess Bride

Retro Review: A Home For Movie Geeks

Well, right now I would have to say The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Just saw that movie last night. It's pretty awesome!
I realize that taste in movies, like anything else is highly subjective, and I passed by quite a few movies that were listed as favorites that I thought were pretty aweful, but not this one... The recent version of Voyage of the Dawn Treader was one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life! Not only was the original story line utterly and completely mangled by the writters, the movie itself was hideously aweful on it's merits.

I say this with a heavy heart, as I really hoped these new movies would do some justice to the books and maybe, just maybe, make it through all seven. I would have loved to see a film version of A Horse and His Boy and The Magician's Nephew, but that will almost certainly never happen now.:sad
