My favorite restaurant is a little corner Chinese diner that I've been going to all my life. I mean that literally, 57 years. The restaurant opened in San Mateo the same year I was born (1958), and instantly became my parents favorite. It has changed ownership several times, but the food has remained the same. I still eat there often, and almost always order the same thing (their "lunch special").

If you want some yummy Cantonese cooking, simple and delish, try Wing Fat near downtown San Mateo. I want it to be my last meal.

Matt and I have been going to our favorite Thai restaurant for about 5 years now. It's his favorite. We are aquainted with the owner. She's a really nice girl. same age as me.

Cool. Just a heads up. They had a fire recently and the indoor dining area is closed. They were only doing take out when I was there two weeks ago.

Pogey's is country .lunch and dinner will include gator ,catfish ,turtle and other southern fixings coming to my state .

Last time we were there my fil (Marion ) was in the hospital.

He did eat there but I have more memories of him at the nearby old cowboys and golden corral .lightseys in glade county ,which is closed but it's first store is west of pogey's and as good
