I like to play Volley Ball and I like to watch Basketball. :)

(I need to buy another basketball. Matt's is flat.)

I used to play most anything, volley ball being my favorite/best, and I like to watch hockey.

Swordplay :D (Haven't done it in years though)

I very rarely do "sports" .... I just go for walks when I get restless
(I always loose anyway :p )

Football for me.

Had a chance to play professional until I knackered anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments in both knees

This ole broken down body only plays the keys on my Laptop as it's brain games now as I like playing hidden object games.
There is only one other sport I like and it's not a sport, but a way of life.............NASCAR........... :woot2............go Junior Nation:biggrin

I did a street race once and beat the other guy, but blew up the engine in the process. It's what ya did in a small country town and hoped to not get caught doing it, LOL.

I like watching the old Daytona Beach races back in the days of dirt track or maybe I should say sand track. Those old bootleggers could drive a car back then.

I got this from Wiki, but did know it was first used as a place for land speed runs. On March 29, 1927 Major Henry Segrave and his Sunbeam 1000 Hp Mystery set a land speed record. Is this the one you were thinking of? Watched a special on Daytona and its history a while back with the old bootleggers and was so interesting how it all got it's start.

No,electric car record in my town. We could race on the beach and did before Daytona. Lets see if I can find this stuff.

I stand corrected while there was racing going on in my town in the 1910s it wasn't before Daytona. My fil raced on the beach in the 50s .I will ask him.

It was quiet the history behind the scene of Daytona as they mixed bootlegging with racing.
