whatdo you think about hillsong lastest album "A beautiful"

For me,i'm a big fan of hillsong.The First christian song i heard is from hillsong.I collected all hillsong album and i'm waiting for Hillsong new album to release.i'm looking for this album but it make me disappoint very much.it just like hilsong lost their soul,like they forget why they sing or who they sing to.it's like they focus on the instrument too much instead of focus on worship.it's like normal music (i think christian music has a life in the song,everytime i listen to it fill with life,hope),in thos album i can't feel the life in the song that why i said hillsong lost their soul.it make me miss the old hillsong much,the song that everybody can sing and we sing together to worship god not like this.

I don't know about this latest album, but in general I find Hillsong focuses more on their playing, their image, money and the self and what they can do rather than on God and singing to and about Him.

I attended hillsong for two years and in my opinion their music is as full of hype as they are.

Occasionally you'll find a song of theirs that isn't hypey or has it toned down, but overall it's way too over the top for my tastes. I liked quite a bit of their earlier stuff (ten years ago) but I found it just got worse and worse. Glossier, more extravagant about how much they adored God and would do anything for him and just out of touch with reality. I've sung it myself because it's easy to get carried away with, but it isn't honest.

If you can't sing it to Gods face then don't sing it at all. Because one day you're going to be explaining it to him.
