What's a hardened heart?

Do you have a hardened heart when you do not want to seek Jesus or forgiveness?

So when one acknowledges that s/he sinned, they confess, repent and then want to change. Does that mean this person does not have a hardened heart?

Who do you sin against....Jesus or God? It seems the one you sin against should be the one who forgives you.....

Can Jesus forgive sins against God....or is God the only one who can grant forgiveness against sins committed towards him?

In my opinion........no. Someone who is truely contreit and sorry....doesn't have a hard heart...even in repeat offense...(to a point).

Yes to both questions. By the way contrary to the views of some Jesus is God.

I was downloading a music video and someone wrote God's name in vain. I did not close the window right away, is that a sin or a hardened heart?

Afterwards I quickly did close it since it was offensive.

No it was not a hardened heart. Not unless you said something like RIGHT ON! If you were offended it could not have been.

Hardned heart never accepts Jesus in its life.

I also believe it signifies an unrepentant Christian.

If you take the term "hardened heart" back to the Hebrew you find it means a strengthened heart. Check it out on blueletterbible
