What's everyone up to?

So it's been over a month since the Teens forum has had any new posts.

I wonder how all of you have been? Things going well, busy etc? How can the rest of us pray for you?

Hey Nick! Been a tough month activity wise. I've taken on extra shifts at work which I am thrilled about. Really rolling in the dough.(haha I do work at a pizza place) and also just recently got news of the death of my grandmothers horse. One she has raised since birth for the past 30 years...no typo I just said 30 years! It's sad but was expected any year now. Also starting school next week and I just finished my summer reading and not really ready for school. Too much drama there but I'll live. I'm kinda rambling. Much sleep needed now at 1:00am but yeah...i have missed church for the past month and a half due to work and travels and have missed youth group for the past two and a half months. Hoping I can get back, even though I am always praising God for his love and Mercy the church home is a great strengthening.

I work in a fast-food joint and I love getting heaps of shifts in the semester break. I dunno why. It's not exactly a rewarding or high-value job, but it's some kind of escape from university life, which while uni life is flexible and interesting, I find it gets pretty stressful. At least it does for me. So I generally enjoy going to work. Nice when the money rolls in, too. Especially because many of us down here pay ~$1,200 per year for our textbooks :gah

How's school going? I'm 6 weeks into uni semester 2, and I wasn't very prepared, lol. Can't wait till mid-sem break in a couple of weeks to catch up, lol. :D

That sucks that you've missed church stuff. Hopefully you've been able to go abit more since you posted. Despite being busy I've been able to continue to go to Bible study (both at church and at uni), church service and also lead Sunday school. While it means I have less time for other things, I continue to grow spiritually, and many church interactions every week keep me encouraged in my faith despite drowning at uni.

How's your bible reading going? Mine was rubbish last semester but it's going a lot better this semester. I'm going through Matthew at the moment. Up to chapter 5. We should do some more stuff in our private bible study if we can

I've been busy with school and other things. Studying WWII this term. I'm a little behind on my schoolbooks at the moment, though.
I'm trying to make myself avoid the computer until all of my work is out of the way, but old habits die hard.
There's been more stress going on than is usual for me, but I think maybe it's normal since I'm older and have more responsibilities now.
Had to quit piano lessons because we can't afford them anymore. I took them for about three years.

My dad isn't home yet. (Can't come home yet because he needs dialysis and he can't get it if he's home at this point.) Before he comes home some people will be coming over here to teach us how to do home dialysis. I'll probably be learning that, too, in case I'm needed at some point. The hard part will be sticking my dad with a needle.=P
My grandmother died a few weeks ago. I had to take care of things at our house while my mom went up north for a few days in order for her to attend the funeral.

Schools okay, i'm only four days into it. And it's already a bit stressful. I'm trying to get back into my bible, have had a few distractions but in trying. Lots of stressful things going on and working on getting my license now.

For me, the busy season has picked up yet again. I'm traveling several days a week. Between work, fatherhood, and being a husband, I'm pretty swamped.

Got my license! I didn't really know where to post this to share but that's why I've been slow too...and work...and AP Classes...
