So true. With as much sunshine as we get year around we could take this 40 and instead of having hay field and pasture, we could have 40 acres of green houses, much more profitable financially than hay and livestock, but so much Evil.

msnbc had an interesting article on the amount of money that is made from pot there and how few are using it. its the heavy users that are using and not working.hmmm nahhh subdised pot users? whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Crazy weather. Some clouds, some sun. Earlier we had a fierce storm that came out of nowhere, dropped gallons of rain in mere minutes, broke branches off of trees, and stopped dead in its tracks after 10 minutes. Now the sun is shining again.

Sunny here again today but quite breezy.
This year has been a really nice summer. We've had enough rain to keep things green.
My miniature hollyhocks are over 3' tall and the Russian sage has gone crazy. They are huge for this part of the world, 5' across and almost 6' tall, all continually blooming tiny, lavender flowers.
