I honestly think the two are inseparable since the bible is His testimony.

I am pretty sure that all we know about Jesus comes from the written Word.

neither is more important. Jesus is the word of God. the more we know of His word the more we can believe him- love him- obey him- and know him personally because we will be able to rightfully judge what in our lives is him and what is not, and what His will and purposes and ways are that He is using to deal with us.

I love Gods word, to meditate, contemplate the scriptures.
Does anyone know, how long the bible was in Hebrew, then Greek, then Latin, most people could not read or write, had no access to scripture,
were only a few people saved who could read latin, were they the only ones who knew Jesus.
are we missing something here, that could also be true today for millions of people in the same boat, as in the past?
