What's the deal?

Hey guys this is my first thread so excuse me if something's incorrect. I just need something cleared up, what's the deal with atheism? Like what's the definition of the belief? From what I can see the only goal of it is to shoot down every religion but Christianity specifically. I've also noticed that a lot of people at my high school have converted to atheism, is it the new "thing" to be atheist? I would really appreciate some help guys, thanks!

Helllo Sammy I feel like Romans 1:19-1:32 has great deal to say about those who reject the knowledge of god you might like do a little study on that it has been an eye opener for me. Atheism is clearly the rejection and denial of gods authority and ownership as the the creator of all things. If you are familiar with meaning of the word Blasphemy, it actually means to call something that which it is not.. for example to call the earth square would be blasphemy if you knew it where round. simply put it would be a lie. However if you did not know for a fact that the earth was round you might actually think that it is square and that might be a truth to you. if you do not know it, it is ignorance not blasphemy. the problem is that much youth today does not know. and there for they are in a state of ignorance. but as I feel Romans 1 suggests ignorant or not they have no excuse. You are incouraged buy the bible be responsible for your own belief and seek out the truth diligently as one rightly dividing the revelation of God and to not be ignorant about the fact that there is something spiritual about you. One thing is a fact those that are dying consider your faith to be foolishness for reasons explained in Romans 1 my concern for you and those around you will be presented to our father tonight

Answer: By example. I like the amusing idea as I am very visual. It's easy to imagine myself struggling in vain to emulate cat behavior, licking the back of my hand, preening myself and acting as if I didn't really care. But since I know we all care, my "example" would be simply to continue to move in the right direction as others watched. There is no "real" way that can be used except example and prayer. Certainly, as you know, direct confrontation is well prepared for and serves to cause others to dig their trenches deeper.

Atheists are busy contemplating the term God. Ask an atheist what they are not believing in and what they mean to say is religion. But ask them if they believe there is a Truth through which pertains the words knowledge and ignorance and they will scratch their heads. Ask them if they believe in Love which pertains to how we treat others and establishes what is moral and immoral they will usually say yes. For if they say no they must answer why they taking a moral stance that there is no God when God Who is the Spirit of Love causes us to treat people as we would want to be treated. Hence they believe in god but have formed their own religion. They worship the hypocritical religion of the god of no gods.

if they do not accept you wipe off the dust from your feet and move on Luke 9:5

Be carefulll not to think that you have the power to change people only God can do that your responsability is for your own actions and your own salvation Php 2:12

just be the best example you possibly can as sparrow suggested

just keep in mind wipeing the dust from your feet may mean you should remove yourself from a stagnant enviroment you should find a platform where your light can shine the brightest and make sure that it is not surrounded by thick bushes or no one else will see it . Put your light out up high and make it obvious that your are happy and content with being contrary to the WORLD aim to make them see you and desire what you have
