whats your favorite Verse!!!!

mine is
Joshua 1:7-9 “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.â€

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Galatians 4:4-7 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law. to redeem those who were under the law, that we might reveive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spitit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

if anybody ask me what's my most fave verse i will always answer John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

God's gift is eternal life in His son :thumbsup

mark:

Psalm 51 is a truly searching Psalm, isn't it? it's a healthy exercise to go through such a passage of Scripture prayerfully.

It really is.

A Baptist minister and I lead an adult Bible study group together on Sunday mornings before our worship service, and this is a favorite for everyone when we discuss it.

I also love the pure simplicity of Micah 6:8

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
