Well.. taking the Bible totally literally seems right to me actually. I don't think it is a book that is decieving. But!... The Bible has been translated and was written in a different time than now. So... There might, (certainly) be some faults there. Like the earth was created only almost 6000 years ago if you believe God created earth then.
This is of course false translated. We really should know by now that the world is thousands and probably millions of years old.
This is only du too mistranslation of one word in Genesis.
Ask if you really want to know more. And study and se how the puzzle pieces fits for yourself!
