When is Jesus going to return?

Think of the amount of the worlds problems that would be solved if Christ returned. When is the 2nd coming supposed to take place?

It will occur once the kingdom of God has been completed.
That is to say that once all of Israel crosses over into the promised land.

WRONG!!!! Jesus will return immediately after the Tribulation, and at that time He himself will usher in the kingdom.

Apostle Paul showed in 2 Thess.2 that a false one must first come with all power working signs and lying wonders. Our Lord Jesus showed in Matt.24 that false one coming will work great signs and wonders that if possible, it would deceive His elect. He also showed that false one in Rev.13 coming to do great wonders, making fire (lightning) come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

So the real question should be, what are the signs leading up our Lord Jesus' second coming, so as to watch and not be fooled by that false one who is to come first.

LOL...
Right that's when the kindgom of God is complete. All God's people at that point in time have already been sealed with the Holy Spirit which is a guarantee their inheritance of eternal life is secured. The bride of Christ is finally ready to meet the groom.

Jesus said no one knew the day nor the hour, except the Father.

So we will know when He is actually back. But don't be fooled, even if all physical eyes see Him not all eyes will recognize Him.

Like the first time, and remember Jesus was on earth 30 years before He began His ministry...
So Jesus would be here already and discerned later on.

All shall recognize Him,for every knee shall bow

Isaiah 45:23
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Philippians 2:10
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

What one needs to watch for,is that they don't be fooled, by the false one....

I agree, are these kneeling according to the flesh or according to the Spirit?
If every shall bow, then all His enemies would also bow and there would be no need of judgment.

And why is it so many renounce Christ if all that herd of Jesus don't ''bow the knee''.

Those who serve Him will bow the knee the rest will curse Him. Again these are spiritual knees.
(In heaven and under the earth speaks of spirits. As on earth as well.

In the 2nd resurrection after all enemies are destroyed and God Himself returns then all knees that are left will bow out of love not slavery.

Jesus only knocks on our door, He doesn't force Himself on anyone.

So again even if all carnal eyes see Jesus not all carnal eyes will recognize Jesus, nothing knew under the sun.

That's how it was done 2000 years ago, and He will be revealed to His bride and the friends of the bridegroom.

Philippians 2:9-11: Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Every knee will bow, every tongue confess... including those in heaven and under the earth. Clearly, Scripture is talking about every single being in the universe - angels, demons, humans. Satan himself will bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ. He, certainly, will not do it out of love. But he will bow.

The same is true of every other rebellious man, woman, child, or angelic being. They will be forced to bow the knee, forced to acknowledge the Lordship of Christ - His sovereign rule over them and everything else. They will not do it willingly, but do it they will.

Best answer to the question is,He will return 3 days after the two witnesses are killed

Revelation 11:7 "And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit [abyss] shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them."

Revelation 11:8 "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sod'-om and E'-gypt, where also our Lord was crucified."

Revelation 11:11 "And after three days and an half the spirit [breath] of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them."

Revelation 11:12 "And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

Revelation 11:13 "And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven."

Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of Our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

onelove is exactly correct on that. We may expect our Lord's coming 3 and 1/2 days after God's two witnesses are killed in Jerusalem. That means Jerusalem is the place to watch.

I think The LORD has made watching the endtime events today easy, for those who stay in His Word that is.

Does watching for that 3 and 1/2 days mean we can know the day or hour of our Lord's coming? No, for we still can't know exactly when that event's going to happen in Jerusalem. Rev.11 says all nations will see the dead bodies of God's two witnesses lay in the street. That has to mean it will be a major publized event, difficult to miss.

Even allowing for the abundance of eschatological views on the subject, one should acknowledge that only the Father knows (best :snicker). You should not be concerned with the timing of the end of the world so much as your service to Jesus during the time you have been given. Don't worry, as a Christian, once your time is up, Jesus will come for you.

Why does everyone gloss over the lamb that takes the little book from the right hand of He that sits in the throne? That does signify the beginning of the opening of the seals, correct?

I just bought a reproduction of an illustrated apocalypse, and every picture in which Jesus is pictured has him holding a book. Is this not the little book?

That Book represents the Word of God. That's what the angel told John to 'take' and eat in Rev.10. In Rev.6 only Christ was worthy to open the seals, which means what? We each must go to The Father through Jesus Christ to understand it.

Back to the thread topic. Our Lord Jesus returns on the 7th angel sounding per Rev.11:15 forward. The 7th trumpet aligns with the 3rd woe events in that same chapter. That is the same "last trump" Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 15, and the "trump of God" he taught in 1 Thessalonians 4.
