Where did the philistines come from. Their obviously war like people. Amos 9:7 states they came from Caphtor. Its assumed the philistines migrated from Crete. Philistines gave king saul much trouble. Eventually, king David subdued them. Question. Is Caphtor in reference to Crete ??.
