where does it say once you get to heaven you cannot come back

can you say me it
Why would you want to leave?

Once Jesus has returned and gathered us, there won ' be any where to return to.
After the great tribulation, the Lord will come back as the King of kings with the pre great tribulation rapture saints when His feet will set on the Mount of Olives to do battle with the world's armies marching unto Jerusalem.

Zechariah 14:1Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

After He has touched down with the saints and having defeated the world's armies and thus Satan is in the pit for a thousand years, then He resurrects those saints left behind & new believers that went through the great tribulation.

Revelation 20:1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Verse 5 is explaining the use for the phrase "first resurrection" for why that resurrection was to happen first before the rest of the dead are raised at the Great White Throne Judgment later on. Verse 5 was written so that believers would not think it was the actual "first" resurrection because the rapture happened before the great tribulation had come.

We have Jesus coming back with the saints at the end of the great tribulation and yet that resurrection happened AFTER Jesus was already on earth having defeated the world's armies & Satan is in the pit for a thousand years.

So the raptured saints before the great tribulation will be coming back with the Lord at the end of the great tribulation before the resurrection of those saints that were left behind and went through the great tribulation happens with Jesus on earth.

He is not meeting those saints that went through the great tribulation in the air.

So those that are partakers of the firstfruits of the resurrection at the pre great tribulation rapture event will be coming back as citizens of Heaven living in that City of God on earth.

Once a lamb departs and is with JESUS , it wont be wanting to come back
to this old world and its old life . Even now i desire naught to do with
the love of this world or its cares and pleasures in life , or pride of life .
When this heart beats its last and my final breath
is drawn , I wont be depressed . My eyes will finally SEE in PERSON
THE ONE WHO SAVED THIS WRETCHED THING .
Now march on in the LORD . Praise HIS NAME daily and often
and offer up all thanksgiving unto the glorious LORD .
THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH and HIS SALVATION , JESUS , IS MY JOY .
Now sing to the KING and let all that draws breath PRAISE THE GLORIOUS LORD .

The firstfruits of the resurrection will not be living as vessels of wood & earth from all over the new earth, but as vessels of gold and silver in the City of God where Jesus has built a mansion for each of the firstfruits to dwell in, to live with God forever.

Op asks once we are in heaven will we want to return to earth?

As we have both replied. There won't be an earth to return to.

Flying visits that are part of the returning of Jesus are not 'a return' to earth are they!

Who are the saints coming back with Jesus in Zechariah 14:1-5 to do battle with the world's armies marching unto Jerusalem?

After Satan is in the pit for a thousand years, that means Jesus is on earth when that resurrection occurs and not meeting them in the air.

Since New Jerusalem is coming down from Heaven with her inhabitants as the prepared bride for her husband, Revelation 3:12 & Revelation 21:2 & John 14:1-3 for God to dwell on earth; then those inhabitants are the raptured saints that met Jesus in the air before the great tribulation that are living in that City of God when that City comes down.

So there is a coming back but in that City of God but in that new heaven and that new earth.

So the answer to that question in the OP is,

'where does it say once you get to heaven you cannot come back"

it does not say that anywhere in the Bible.

Where the lambs will be with our glorious Lord . The new heavenly jerusalem
And i john saw the heavenly city descending to the earth .
That will be the home of the lambs . Let all that draws breath
praise the glorious Lord . We look forward to the new heavens and the new
earth . Till then , armour up and get the gospel out to all that has breath
cause no faith in JESUS means outer darkness and the second death
GOD and the Lamb are the temple . Thus there aint no way into that TEMPLE
lest one has FAITH IN JESUS . Budda aint gonna get ya in
muhammed aint , the pope cant , only FAITH IN JESUS .
Now let all that does breathe air , leap up and praise and thank the GLorious
Lord for the mercy of His grace given us in JESUS CHRIST .
Raise those hands and praise the LORD and let all endure faithful
even unto death .

As after Jesus's return there is no world to return to.
Titus & thesaintman

Except a new heaven and a new earth.

Isaiah 65:17For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Isaiah 66:22For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

2 Peter 3:13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

So there is a coming back.

So there is a coming back.

Except you have not understood,
The op is about returning to this world, to visiting family, friends etc and after Jesus'# return all there will be is heaven.
Whether that is the Newhaven and new earth doesn't matter, we will not want to leave Jesus's presence.

Except you have not understood,
I believe I understood, but I am having trouble understanding your following comments.
The op is about returning to this world, to visiting family, friends etc and after Jesus'# return all there will be is heaven.
You say that above and yet dismiss the issue below which proves otherwise when there is a new heaven and a new earth that the City of God and her inhabitants will be returning to on earth when Gd dwells with man on that new earth..
Whether that is the Newhaven and new earth doesn't matter, we will not want to leave Jesus's presence.
That does not mean we left His Presence at all.
