Dude wouldn't you have military transportation at your disposal? I bet a mach 3 fighter jet can make the pond in 3 hours and a military helicopter can bring you from the nearest civilised military outpost to MN in under an hour. ;-)

Living in Carmel Valley CA one sees a lot .... Where the road to the ranch forked off the main road Her home was in the triangle ...She was marching around crying about capitalism passing our school bus in her XKE...

That's a real beautiful place. I'd love to live there. Does MN get tornados?

Germany has a lot of the vegetation that Minnesota has. That's why I never felt like a foreigner when I was stationed there while in the Army.

As for tornados, check out this video. This is roughly 100 miles south from where I live. It's kinda boring at first but stick with it, there's some awesome video towards the middle. This is not the norm, but it does happen every now and then.
