Back to topic Very pretty Gary .. what are the winters like?

Sometimes we get snow, sometimes we don't.

Looking out my kitchen window.

I would hate to have to walk and work in that weather. digging up water meters to read them ouch.

my mom lived in ct, for 17 years. becon falls, ct. yes snow is so well loved that if florida were to leave the union. mass suicide of the snowbirds would occur. not that I would be sadden by such losses.

My home town, North Branch, is rapidly becoming a suburb of Minneapolis and St. Paul. (the Twin Cities) People are moving up here to get away from the cities and in doing so, they're creating the very thing they're trying to get away from. Locals are cashing in on the migration and pulling up stakes and heading out for greener pastures. Can't really blame them.

It's getting crowded.

Yeah I see the same here mate. Many people are moving country and commuting to the city for work. I suppose it's inevitable with the growing population.
