Bible Study who has Joseph in the NT?

Who was Joseph in the NT? Let's have each person state one fact they know about Joseph.

Unlike Mary, Zachariah, and Elizabeth, we never hear him speak.

Joseph is silent in the narratives. The only hint we get is that he did not want Mary marginalized and agreed to marry her. We are not even sure Joseph is the father and he fades from the scene rather quickly and silently.
