Who is God and who is Jesus?

The God says: "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." Isaiah 45:5. He also says: "Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me." Isaiah 46:9. Based on these verses and many other, It is my understanding that there is a Creator and there is His Creation. The Creator does not become creation because that would be an act of deception. For example: If I show you a picture of a fish, you will call it a fish. If I show you a picture of an elephant, you will call it an elephant. Similarly if I show you a picture of a man, will you and can you call a man, The God? I believe that The God does not perform act of deception. He is a creator, not the creation and there is none like him. "...I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me." Isaiah 46:9. "You shall not have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3.

Since the beginning of time God has sent prophets and messengers. Jesus was a man who was one the greatest and mightiest messenger of God and he said: "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me." John 8:38, "I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him." John 13:16, ...he (Jesus) fell with his face to the ground and prayed... Matthew 26:39.

There are many verses in Bible where God describes him self very clearly as the Creator and affirms His Oneness: "Do not have any other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God..." Exodus 20:2.

There isn't a single unambiguous verse in bible saying that Jesus is the God. However, there are many that suggest that Jesus was a messenger. God was not born and cannot be born. The bible says by God’s words “no one has ever seen Godâ€. God cannot change; God has always been and will always be perfect. The concept of Jesus’ divinity was never taught or his apostles took Jesus as god. God is the object of worship and Jesus never asked anyone to worship him. "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone" Mark 10:18. Jesus ate, slept and pray like any other man; God does not eat, does not pray and is not in need. Jesus said that God’s knowledge is greater than his; he admitted his deficiency of knowledge. Jesus explicitly stated that he is not god (see John 17:3). The term “Son of god†was not exclusive to Jesus even in the Bible; others were called Son of god.

God is not the author of confusion. God does not become His creation and tricks them into believing that a man can be a god. There is nothing like The God. The true nature of Jesus was a human. A mighty messenger of God. May God guide us all on the right path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray.
