"You have heard Me tell you, 'I am going away and I am coming to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I" - John 14:28

Here is Paul's concept of God circa 55-65 AD --

"yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

But not everyone knows this......" - 1 Cor. 8:6-7.

No trinity here.

"I and My Father are one" - John 10:30

Christ came as God/man. In this verse He had not even been accepted by God as an faithful atonement for sin yet. Do you remember His telling Mary to not touch Him, that He had not 'yet' accended to the Father?

Find us a Bible verse where Christ God was a Son of God prior to Psalm 2:7 fortold future prophecy, where the Holy Spirit Inspired these Words of Christ:
"[I will declare the decree]:
the Lord hath said unto Me, Thou art My Son; [this day have I begotten Thee]." And the day that Christ became the Son of God is also given in Hebrews 1:5 (some even believe that this was from the 'pen' of Paul, or a helper?)

Matthew 4:4 & 2 Timothy 3:16 is the only way to settle this 'doctrine' question for oneself. That is what the Word of God is for! :fadein:
