Who is the First Beast of Revelation?

You know in Revelations were it says the first beast will come out of the sea?

I heard someone say that this could mean not the sea as in ocean it's self but sea refers to the population of Genitals. Anyone who is isn't Jewish. Probably be a catholic priest or another preacher of these denominations gone wrong. Like from those corrupt mega churches.

Sorry I just don't like a church that puts the preachers name on big letters. Its about God not them.

Yep....the "Sea" refers to the Nations...the "land" usually refers to Israel.

The Beast in Dan. had 7 heads, ten horns right !

Represented by the feet of the statue was the end of this type rule, it evolved into the feet/ten toes, and is believed to be the Roman empire(Nero) that eventually dissolved/divided into the European countries(imperialists)(royalty)(the Crowns).

Rev. -- 7 heads, ten horns, ten Crowns on the horns same beast as in Dan. ? Would Dan. have left or overlooked this part ? I don't think so.

Could the immigration from the imperialist countries to the America, Re-merging into one, then becoming the worlds superpower. which no one can stand against, not ringing any bells around here???

Nothing like having your thoughts echoed back three times, Regis.

The four beasts of Revelation are the four empires that have ruled over Israel.
1)Babylon
2)Medo-Persians
3)Greeks
4)Romans

The Book of Revelations will never be anything more than a source of confusion, conjecture, and endless, fruitless debate until you understand three things about that Book:

1) It is the revalation of Jesus Christ. (First 5 words of the book) Beyond all else, and before anything else, it is a revealing of the person of Jesus. That part has to be recognized first.

2) It has been "signified" (presented or given in symbols and figures). Check the second half of the first verse. Trying to interpret this book literally will produce nothing useful.
Requires understanding

3) It is written to, for, and about Israel. By Israel, all twelve tribes are brought into context here, not just the Jews. Applying it to anyone else is an exercise in futility.
In other words the Bible is a useless book to anyone but Jews ??

I would add a 4th, when were the events to take place:

Rev 1:1 A Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to declare to His servants things which must shortly come to pass. And He signified it by sending His angel to His servant John,

Rev 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads and hears the Words of this prophecy, and the ones keeping the things written in it, for the time is near.

Ignoring the time indicator can lead to any type of interpretation.(see Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, etc....)

It's a good thing Gods time is a bit different from ours! yes, good Idea not to predict like the authors above, and also a good idea not to omit ANYthing, for ANY reason.

The beast could be gov. with its leaders of non Jewish background. Personally, I'm watching EU. European Union. It was founded by 10 nations.
