when all they have are the polluted remnants of God's word? How can anyone claim to know God at all when all they posses of God are cryptic words that are so polluted that you probably should know more than one language in order to even brush the facts. How much of God is even in those writings? Some will never know for sure since all they have is the word that has been adulterated and polluted by men.

Certainly those people don't know God but I've met some who like to fancy that they do.

Joh:4:21: Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Joh:4:22:Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Joh:4:23: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh:4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The truth. The truth is majorly rejected in favor of the error of deception nowadays. Cursedly you will not find too many people worshiping in the truth anymore. The lies are huge and the folks are swallowing it all hook line and sinker. These last hundred and fifty years have really been a test to the faithful and as time winds down to a close satan is working with a fury. Won't you stand up and fight please.

Re:3:16: So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Lukewarm Christianity makes Jesus sick. How about you?

God's Word is Truth, and He is more than capable of keeping it exactly how He wants it to be. Not only that, but we have the Holy Spirit to enlighten our minds with understanding when we read the Word of God. I'm not surprised in the least that men are bent on denying the Word...claiming it has been adulterated. The problem with making those claims is that believers know better. The truth cannot be taken out of our hands nor our hearts because man, in all his "wisdom," makes claims that the Word has been spoiled. With God...all things are possible....keeping His Word for the saints is only one of the things God is more than able to do. It's a shame to hear otherwise. :shame

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

To know God is to keep His commandments

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
