Who wants to tithe to Muslims?

Leave it to jasonc to spoil the parade. :lol
You forgot those work camps housed soldiers. I could flip this on you.if you are a mp at camp blandings pow camp and house a German camp.one escapes and the man is saved and the order is to shoot.do you shoot him?

The Germans that were at Blanding never tried to escape nor did any elsewhere, save one.

I oft think about the scenario if you were being held in one of Hitler's prisons. Would you do what Jesus said to do for your enemy who is imprisoning you, or would you kill the guard and escape at the first chance you got?

I like to think I'd follow Dietrich Bonhoeffer's example.

This thread really isn't about giving our church money to the Muslims.
It's about helping those we come across in their time of need.
If Muslims were on the side of the road in need, would you help them?
That's a question for all of you, including myself.
They are.
And I used to.
Now there are too many to be able to help.

Yes I would, along with any displaced maginalised person. Regardless of gender, orientation, ethnicity or religion.

I'm sure Jesus would have done that, and we need are called to do the same. When we see what Jesus does then we see the Father. Whilst I aspire to do the works of Jesus I think it is important that we do what Jesus did and that is do what he knew the Father wanted. A loving family relationship. All of creation are Gods children.

Probably. It is said that, one only loves God as much as the person that they do the person they like the least on earth...

A little Sunday afternoon proverb for you...I liked it.

I would never aid and abet a Muslim extremist. Nor any other criminal. I don't believe for a minute Jesus has called us to do that.

I agree but the truth is they wouldn't want our help along the lines of the help we want to give. By which I mean
It's not just about the money (although I know it the thoughts of post that's been posted). But ultimately we will have to reveal why we are helping.

I do think to a certain extent we can distinguish between the two. An extremist whether it be a religious person or a criminal will not want our help. A religious extremist deifintley will not want our help but what about a non extreme criminal.

Someone who steals from shops because they haven't got enough money to feed themselves or the family, someone who constantly drives above the speed limit. Any activity that breaks the law is a criminal activity and by definition they are a criminal, whether they have been caught or not.
