thanks for the laugh :biglaugh

The first politicians are the people of the Bible. where ever people are trying to govern their people, that is politics, and God has always been involved in it. Why ? Because when it comes to God's people He is involved. Now in the New Testament, it was the Herodians.

We also have to remember what Jesus says that His followers not of this world, governments are of this world because they are constituted of this world. In OT times, the Jewish were all His people so it is not the same as our governments.

Ok here we go, His people or not his people, the world governments or whatever. We are talking about governments (period). God's government, not man, was and is to keep things in order, sort of like the government in heaven, He keeps things in order up there, and the angelic up there have to do things in order and to a certain protocol and they have freewill to go against God's government, just like we have here on earth. Governments were established by God even for the unsaved, read Romans 13. Even heathens have to have government.

Ok, I see your position but i will not get involved with politics because Jesus says we are not of this world and governments are of this world. Of course I will abide by their laws as long as it is in line with God.
