Who watches internet tv?

If anyone does give me some good sites, the site I used is now very buggy, this internet tv is just awesome. If you know any sites give them to me and I'd greatly appreciate it. :yes

just go to the main broadcasters such as fox.com, nbc.com, abc.com etc.... they have plenty of programming
 
I just started getting into watching some shows on the web. The big networks list all of their old seasons to watch anytime, with minimal commercials.

Some even do a HD quality braodcast (though I do not have a true HD computer yet so don't know for sure)

My question is, who has connected a PC to their HD TV?

I am compiling a list of the different hardware and software I will need. If it works out the way I want, the computer will pay for itself in a matter of months, if I drop all the premium stuff from my cable bill. My cable bill has climbed to $150/month for internet and digital cable. Its way past out of hand.

Anyone have any pointers on accomplishing this?

I looked at the streaming wifi servers for web to tv, and I think I can build a whole computer that is less fickle to deal with, and capable of so much more.
 
I am connected to my TV. Nothing too fancy. I use an NVidia video adapter w/ 256MB mem. and a svga out that hooks up to the TV's S-video input. I port my sound out of the PC to my stereo system also and I'm good to go. Again, nothing fancy, just a few wires and I have the ability to watch anything my PC puts out, right on my TV. :D

Vic C. try the sites that let you subscribe to to sattelite tv just for the internet, just remember to look for sites that have reviews about this feature first..... :approve



Anybody know anymore free quality sites other than...


I know more exist because they say most people who don't live in the states watch INTERNET tv, you may just have to note that they may be chinese or japanese, so I greatly appreciate 6 or 7 hours of looking or whatever you know :)


These are the sites are ready know about, from 1 to 5 being 1 poor, or 5 excellent...


4.5 Freetube
3.0 Hulu
5.0 Surf the channel
3.5 Tudou
3.7 Yokou
2.0 Megavideo
1.2 Internet tv

And a lot of other tricky trash bad try to sell you tv sites... :ohwell
