Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them ???????

It seems confusing for people who do not know or care to know too many verses of scripture, when Christ speaks positively about Himself and believers, such as the below verses of eating the flesh of Christ and drinking His blood, and how it seems that Christ is stating He will then remain in that person, and they will remain in Him.....

John 6:54-56 NIV - "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

Of course it would be amazingly naive, to not also recognise, there are subtle differences occurring, from one version ( NIV) to the KJV. The KJV is a little more simpler to follow, and instead of the NIV saying a person remains in Christ, the KJV says the person dwells in Christ. T<he next verse then describes this as living by Christ. ( when we dwell in Him)

John 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Then chapter 15 of John, shows this is spoken to all people, and relevant for all times, to abide in Christ ( dwell in Him) to not whither and die. To abide in Christ ( the vine) is for His words to abide in us ( remain in us)

Christ shows He loved us, and for us to continue in that love ( His words remaining in us of the testified love of Christ) done through keeping His commandments ( to believe in HIs love and to love as He loved) because CHRIST KEPT THE FATHERS COMMANDMENTS TO ABIDE ( REMAIN) IN HIS LOVE. ( Christ layed His life down, this is the commandment of the Father, life everlasting through Christ.)

Christ shows how He shares these words wit us, so HIs joy may remain in us, so our joy may be full ( so we remain in Him through believing all He says, for us to do as we saw He did) and it is COMMANDMENT THEN, for us to believe Christ lays His ife down, and we show belief or disbelief in that, whether we do the same ( laying our life down for our friends) or whether we turn away from them, then the love of Christ is not abiding in us.

John 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Turn to 1 John 2 now, and this speaks the same. We are not automatically remaining in Christ through eating an drinking HIs blood, but by keeping His word, for the love of God to be perfected in us, as all who say they abide ( remain) in Christ, have to walk as He walked. ( to abide in HIs love, as Christ kept the Fathers commandments and abides in HIs love.)

What we heard from the beginning is told to us, as the true light now shines to cast away the darkness. ( love for our neighbour instead of hate, is us abiding in the light, and not darkness.) As he that loves his brother abides ( remains in the love of God) in the light, The ones who hate their brother are not abiding in the light, but are instead in darkness until now.

What we heard then from the beginning has to abide ( Christ to remain in us, by keeping His commandments to love one another as He loved us, abiding in the Fathers love to lay His life down for us.) for us to also continue in the Father and in the Son.

This is the anointing teaching of Christ ( the eating and drinking of HIs blood in faith) to abide in us, the truth as it has taught us, to abide in Him. ( keeping of what Christ also did to abide.)

This is how we abide in Him, to not be ashamed, and have confidence before Him when He appears. ( not by the claimed false prophet/teacher way, that we cant fall away from faith and that we are made to remain in Christ, by doing nothing of what he did and says to do..)

1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 John 2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

1 John 2:9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

1 John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Lastly, the other fake way deceivers use, is 1 John 3. They think they cant fail salvation, because of verses there saying, the seed remaons in him.

But we are told, we know Christ, and that is how we abide in Christ, ( to not commit sin for the seed to remain in us) through believing His testimonies, which is to not sin ( sin is unbelief and when we work unrighteousness to our brother) and when we do transgress, we show we do not see nor know Christ. ( pride and exaltation, and not fearing God, are sin)

Then to know we pass from death to life, is ONLY, when we love the brothers. ( not loving ourselves) and that is when anyone abides in life ( in Christ who loved us by laying His life down as we ought to do) and if we do not love the brothers that way of Christ, we then are yet abiding in death.

We perceive the love of God to lay His life down, and then we see when anyone hardens their heart, no love of God is in them. We have to love in deed and truth, to assure our hearts before God. ( to the people who claim they cant fail, cant fall, are kept abiding in Christ by Christ, they deny all things Christ did, and even all the testimony we are told to believe in.)

1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

So the warning is, look to ourselves to not lose that full reward. Because who transgresses the doctrine of Christ does not abide ( does not remain) in Him, as they do not have God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ ( remains in Christ, in the love of God) does so by keeping, not transgressing His examples and commandments. Do not hear those who dispute and deny this doctrine, or we are parttaker of their evil deeds.

2 John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
