It’s a scandal (or it should be) of national—even international—proportions. But in Pennsylvania, where the news first reverberated, few understand the bigger ramifications: The ongoing furor has— just barely—kicked open the door of a hitherto secret house of horrors in which a whole host of spooks are lurking.

Exposed was yet another instance of Israeli spying on American soil. Adding insult to injury is the fact— revealed in Pennsylvania—that American tax dollars are being channeled to Israeli intelligence operations to spy on American citizens engaged in lawful political activity.

To understand the controversy, it is critical to recognize that in the wake of 9-11, “homeland security†became a booming racket—not just in the sense of a growing government bureaucracy. In fact, an amazing number of privately owned companies blossomed, operating in the sphere of American military, intelligence and law enforcement, contracting out services to U.S. government agencies and institutions at all levels.

An overwhelming majority of such firms are either 1) Israeli owned; 2) owned by U.S. subsidiaries of Israeli companies; or 3) owned by Americans tied to Israel and the Jewish lobby in America.

It was discovered that one such Israeli-owned company was spying on law-abiding citizens, paid to do so by the Pennsylvania state government—that is, the taxpayers.

Breaking Israel’s Stranglehold over American Foreign Policy

September 26, 2010 "Information Clearing House" -- If Israel’s stranglehold over U.S. foreign policy is to be broken, Americans will need to be informed about the harm that Washington’s unconditional support for the Jewish state is doing to American interests, say leading analysts of U.S.-Israeli relations.

According to John J. Mearsheimer, co-author of The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy, “The only plausible way to weaken the lobby’s influence on U.S. foreign policy is for prominent policymakers and opinion-makers to speak openly about the damage the special relationship is doing to the American national interest.â€

“Plenty of people in the United States, especially inside the Beltway, know that Israel is an albatross around America’s neck,†says Mearsheimer, the R. Wendell Harrison Distinguished Service Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago. “But they are afraid to stand up and say that for fear that the lobby will attack them and damage their careers.â€

“Hopefully, some of them will develop a backbone,†he adds.

Philip Giraldi, executive director of the Council for the National Interest, believes that Tel Aviv’s stranglehold over Washington can be broken “only by directly challenging the power of the Israel lobby and the false narrative about how it is of value to the United States.â€

Giraldi, a contributing editor to The American Conservative, says that “it must be done from the bottom up as Israel cannot be challenged in the mainstream media, Congress, and in the White House.â€

“The American people must learn that Israel is and always has been a strategic liability that has done immense damage to the United States and its worldwide interests,†concludes the former CIA officer.

If there is to be an end to Israel’s decades-long “sway over Congress and intimidating presidents,†says Jeffrey Blankfort, a prominent Jewish American critic of Israel and its American lobby, “it will require appeals and actions beginning on a local level that inform the American people not so much about what Israel has done to the Palestinians but what its unregistered agents in the U.S., euphemistically described as ‘lobbyists,’ have done to destroy what little is left of American democracy and the attendant costs in flesh and blood, as well as its tax dollars.â€

A long-time pro-Palestinian activist noted for his trenchant critique of Noam Chomsky, Blankfort attributes the failure of such efforts to get off the ground to “the continued unwillingness of the leading figures of the Palestinian solidarity movement in the U.S. to acknowledge the invidious power of the Zionist Lobby,†who, following Chomsky’s anti-imperialist analysis, prefer to “place the primary responsibility for Israel’s crimes and U.S. Middle East policies at Washington’s doorstep.â€

“So the first steps,†Blankfort suggests, “may be to publicly challenge these figures while at the same time moving past them and addressing the American people directly.â€

No American President will ever have enough latitude to resolve the conflict in Palestine “unless and until enough Americans are informed enough to make their democracy work,†according to Alan Hart, former Middle East Chief Correspondent for Britain’s Independent Television News.

“In other words,†explains Hart, who was also a BBC Panorama presenter specializing in the Middle East, “if President Obama or any of his successors is ever going to be free to confront and defeat the Zionist lobby’s stooges in Congress and the mainstream media, there has got to be created a constituency of understanding about why it is not in America’s own best interests to go on supporting Zionism’s monster child right or wrong.â€

The essence of the problem, Hart argues in the three-volume American edition of his book Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews, is that “Americans have been conditioned, brainwashed, to believe a version of history, Zionism’s version, which is a pack of propaganda lies.â€

Jeff Gates, former counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, believes that “transparency, accountability and better design†are required to break Israel’s hold on American foreign policy.

“At present, the American public is ignorant of Israel’s all-pervasive influence. Its control includes the media-enabled deployment of fixed intelligence to induce this nation to war for Greater Israel,†says Gates, author of Guilt By Association: How Deception and Self-Deceit Took America to War.

“We will know that accountability is underway when we see federal grand juries convened to consider charges against Israel’s agents, assets and sayanim (volunteers). When a jury brings in the first verdict for treason, Americans will know that the rule of law is being restored. We will know that a solution is within sight when the many appendages of its lobby are required to register as foreign agents.â€

Don't let financial difficulties stop you from receiving your blessing. God blesses those who faithfully bless Israel.

We've been blessing Israel through CUFI for 3 years. We faced some financial difficulties 2 years ago with business failures. We remembered however that God blesses those who bless Israel. So we continued to support Israel even though our offerings got smaller. God proved His word does not come back void. Since we continued to show ourselves faithful in supporting God's chosen people of Israel through CUFI, our finances have been increasing. We gained back a lot of what the devil stole thus our offerings have increased! God bless Israel and God bless CUFI!

In February 2006, John Hagee revived a movement focused on the support of Israel. He called upon Christian leaders in America to join him in launching his new initiative. Over 400 leaders, each representing a denomination, mega-church, media ministry, publishing company, or Christian university voiced support and Christians United for Israel was created.[4]
Legally incorporated on February 7, 2006, and operated out of Hagee's hometown of San Antonio, Texas, CUFI is focused on communicating the perceived need for closer links between Christian ministries in America and the state of Israel.
CUFI and its July 2006 Summit were instrumental in the founding of Israel Allies Caucus in the United States Congress.[citation needed]
The first college chapter of Christians United for Israel has recently been established at California State University, Bakersfield. More "CUFI on Campus" chapters are planned.[5]

"Christians United for Israel" was originally formed in 1992 by David Lewis. After a period of inactivity, Hagee sought and received permission from Lewis to use the title for his own organization.[6]
Main objectives

• To educate and build Christian support for Israel throughout America: CUFI seeks to rally evangelical Christians in support of Israel for biblical and moral reasons. A Night to Honor Israel

Washington/Israel Summit

CUFI holds an annual summit to enable delegates to personally speak with their representatives on behalf of Israel. In response to particular current events, CUFI also mobilizes its members through Rapid Response Alerts to raise popular support for Israel and lobby the U.S. Congress in support of Israel.
National Night to Honor Israel 2008, 2009, 2010

On July 22 CUFI held their 2008 National Night to Honor Israel. Ambassador Dan Gillerman, Pastor John Hagee and Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) spoke with live music interludes. Senator Lieberman opened his speech by saying "I am your brother Joseph." In his speech Lieberman re-affirmed his support for CUFI, Israel and Pastor Hagee. In addition Hagee cleared up some myths regarding his beliefs on Israel. [meaning ISRAEL DOESN'T NEED JESUS, SINCE THERE IS A SEPARATE DISPENSATION FOR THEM] The attendance, which many thought would be down from previous years, exceeded all expectations. With the Washington DC Convention Center packed from front to back without an open seat in sight attendees waved American and Israeli flags in support for CUFI, America and the State of Israel. For the first time CUFI hosted several prominent Catholic leaders in a show of unity between Pastor Hagee and the Catholic Church. Father Roger Hunter-Hall spoke and praised CUFI and Pastor Hagee. Pastor Hagee said when the fabricated statements regarding his beliefs on the Catholic Church [huh? he's ON RECORD saying ROME IS THE GREAT HARLOT - WHICH IS IT HAGEE?] surfaced he did something that the media wasn't expecting, they acted like Christians. Hagee and the head of the Catholic League met and quickly realized they were being pitted against each other by their enemies for political gain. Support for Jewish People

CUFI states that during the Holocaust, too many Christians were silent and that Christians today must stand up for Israel and protect Israel’s 6 million Jews from the second Holocaust, concluding that: "We must get it right this time. Our faith demands it. The times require it. Silence is not an option."[7]

At CUFI's 4th annual convention, CUFI Florida state director Scott Thomas, who is senior pastor at Without Walls Central in Lakeland, Florida, states that CUFI's support of Israel is not related to Christian eschatology (which says Israel has a central role in bringing about the second coming of Jesus Christ) [?? DOCUMENTATION?] since Christians believe that there is nothing they can do to speed up that process.

Thomas also cited Chapter 12 of Book of Genesis, which states that God will bless those who blesses the Jews and curses those who curse the Jews, and said that his Christian faith couldn't exist without the foundation of Judaism.[8]

Support for Israel against Iran
John Hagee announced on July 16, 2007 in a speech during the CUFI Washington summit that he is a proponent of a pre-emptive nuclear strike on Iran in order to save the State of Israel.[9]

In this we agree... I just get a sick feeling to my stomach when people associated Noahide laws to Acts 15. which to me is such an abomination, created by the "exclusive" theologists of Judaism.

Are you an advocate of those laws?

Oh I have no doubt that you love to cherry pick scripture to turn Christians back to works based salvation but I want to know specifically your thoughts on the Noahide Laws. Do you think they are a good idea for Christians? Stop dancing around the question. Put your cards on the table.
