Just curious who is your favorite Pastor? Who you like to listen to teach about God? I expect many will say the Holy Spirit! This is ok, and point well taken, me too, but as far as Human Pastors go, who's your favorite one, (or three lol).

Radio, TV, real life in your church, wherever. Who is it and what do like about them? I'll start.

I'm not sure if I like a single one that I can call best or favorite over the others. They have different styles that I find appealing. In no particular order, I like:

Chuck Missler, a very well spoken & thought provoking delivery of Sermons and always backs everything up with scripture. Radio, YouTube.

Charles Stanley, I started listening to him on the radio between jobs while driving around and I like his style. Now listen to this.... Yeah. Radio.

Andrew Womak. This man talks to you like you're his neighbor. A real down to earth fellow and the Spirit is strong with him. Radio.

Joyce Meyers. There's just something about her that makes a man think. Her delivery is like that nice lady up the street or your Grandma, and a very good job for a lady Pastor. Radio.

NetChaplain. I have to include this man. I've never heard a questionable word come out of his mouth (keyboard, lol!) Thought provoking, straight to the point and a delivery that is the most grace filled, non-judgmental, contention free member on the board. Impossible to argue with the man. He's right and doesn't stir the pot. Christianforums.net

How about you?

I enjoy listening to Paul Washer, John Piper, and Shawn McCraney

I used to be able to listen to Chuck Swindoll, David Jeremiah and Tony Evans every morning on one of my local Christian stations, but my promotion to senior counselor no longer allows me that luxury. Now my favorite pastor is my own, and in comparison to those three great pastors and teachers, he more than holds his own.

My Daddy :)

A man who grew to live what he preached...

AMEN!

Adrian rogers, james McDonald, and my pastor of course.

I haven't heard of most of the Pastors listed by you folks. This'll give me some people to look for and listen to.

I'd appreciate it if you listed where it is that you listen to them at.

I listen to Charles Spurgeon.
He has over 3000 sermons on line.

Oh yes, I like him. I haven't listened to him, but he writes my daily devotional that I do through Biblegateway. That thread a while back where I posted a paragraph about something or other (can't remember) that you and one other person posted good post to me (and I admitted they were not my words, but touched me so I felt it good to share)...was from Charles Spurgeon and his devotional. :)

I have heard it said that he is no good or is a calvinist or something, but I see no evidence of this in his writing. He writes wise words. Now that you mention it, I'll be searching out his online sermons. Where are they? Youtube?

yes Calvinist - Wonderful sermons and insight

Deborah:

Yes, I love Spurgeon's sermons, too.

I think folk should quit using the term Calvinist as a term of abuse, because it's like hamburgers: there are all sorts of varieties: Macdonalds, Burger King, Licks; unless beforehand they tell what sort, there's no knowing what it will be like.

Spurgeon has a very loving, heartwarming style.

Blessings.

I think maybe if the truth be known when people say C or A that many are really somewhere inbetween.
I think it's a shame to have to identify by labeling because it keeps some from learning really good teaching for life in Christ.

Blessings to you and your's
