Why do carpenters pack peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches for their lunch? Isn't there something else they could eat?

'''''''''''''''''''''''''''WHAT''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''don't make me send you to the North Pole

:rolling :biglaugh :lol I love checking into the "Dave and Lewis" comedy threads!

Take a deep breath Lewis. Yeah, and you thought you were going to have a whole week of vacation.

btw Dave, they like pb&j because you can eat one while whaling on something with a hammer.

(Now, don't get ANY ideas from that, Lewis!)

Chapter and verse, please! Jesus was a carpenter and I never once read that in my Bible! :chair

Wait! Now I'm confused. :confused I didn't know carpenters went whaling. :D Hmm, Noah did build a boat... did he whale? :lol

Well........ :crazy

I was a carpenter's helper and all I can tell you is that yes, it is easy to work and eat with a PB&J samich. Also, it's cheap, high in protien, sucrose and glucose for those quick bursts of energy. :thumb

Now Dave, don't you have anything better to do?

Vic, I live in Idaho. We don't have any whales here to go whaling. When we say we're whaling on something or someone, well, it means something different.

Sooo, if you're ever in Idaho, and someone says to you, "Keep that up and I'm gonna whale on ya", that's not a good thing.

:fight Idaho whaling!

btw, I wouldn't say that Jesus didn't eat pb&j's. Chapter and Verse? John 21:25 :nod

They eat peanut butter and jelly because that's all they know how to build...they aren't journeyman cooks yet.

The jelly gives them energy to whale with their hammer, and the P-nut butter can be used to stop up all the wrong holes they whale.

I was an electrician for several years, and we ate lots of bologna sandwiches, we called it round steak sandwiches. :)

Besides carpenters, aren't the brightest bulbs in the house anyway. :) They drive nails into hot wires, and fry their brains all the time. :lol
