Why do Christians suffer?
Suffering is "GIVEN" ....
by the Father to every human being born in flesh and blood! You have heard the statement, "No cross! No crown"! That statement is true. Jesus suffered the "passion" given to all human beings by the Father, namely "the cross and a crown of thorns". We live in the pit of hell for devils, "where Satan's seat is". Look at this:
Isaiah 14:12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Revelation 12: 7. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
All human beings are sons and daughters of the Father, Matthew 23:9. The devil knows this! He wants revenge against God for judging and condemning his family for an erasing by fire in the absolute END. Since He can't hurt God, His next bet is to target His children. So all men are getting a "double cross" and a crown of thorns whether they like it or not. As you can see Christians suffer because of these FACTS. Jesus never promised any man, "If you follow me, you will get a flowery bed of ease"! He did say, "The serant is not above his master! What they do me they will also do to you"! And some have been killed for practicing this faith. With that understood, READ this!
Ecclesiastes 1:13. And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
Romans 8:18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
So even if we suffer everyday of our life in Satan's prison house we know we shall be delivered and redeemed ... in the END!
Genesis 1: 13. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs (namely the pit of hell called Earth), and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14. And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
When does this "deliverance happen"?
Isaiah 46: 3. Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb: 4. And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
Hosea 13:14. I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
Luke 15: 20. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23. And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
No cross! No crown!
