I have no good answer to this, and the only time I support it is when there's uni-brow or black forest of death involved...

But it's a personal annoyance to me when people pluck all their eyebrows out and then draw them back in. Yuck.

But mostly I think it's a grooming thing -- I don't have eyebrow issues, so I don't bother.

Maybe to make themselves look delicate and feminine.... that would be my guess.

For the same two reasons men shave their beards, because everyone else does and to look less like men.

I think it is just a grooming preference for most people. I do not have personal experience with it either.

I pluck my eyebrows because I like them better "well groomed". I also shave under my arms for the sake of "good grooming". :D
